New Years and the Grizzlies

New Year's Eve was about as low-key as it could be. We went to dinner at Mellow Mushroom and then came home, put Wilder to bed, and just hung out at home the rest of the night. Paul and I are both pretty much over the whole New Year's Eve partying thing so we were perfectly happy just spending a relaxing family night at home.
"Mad face"
"Sweet, innocent, 'I'm definitely not
about to eat this crayon' face" ;)
Genuine sweet face
Love this silly boy! There's no where else I'd rather be
on New Year's Eve than with him and his daddy.
First photo of 2013 :)
Wilder loves his Posey. Loves to
mess with her, that is ;)
For Christmas Paul's dad gave us tickets to a Memphis Grizzlies game so the week after New Year's Daddy G and Lisa took us to dinner downtown before and then went to the game with us. Wilder was a little frightened at first of the pre-game action, namely the gigantic flames being shot into the air, but we had court-side seats so he quickly got over his anxiety and got excited about seeing the huge basketball players warming up. Oh, and the massive bag of popcorn Paul bought. He was also really excited about getting to meet Griz, the mascot. We had such a fun night and Wilder is still talking about it two months later. What a lucky little boy he is -- getting to go to a professional baseball, football, and basketball game by the time he's two years old!
Bopping Lisa on the head with a big foam
hand, haha! Luckily she's a good sport ;)
He looks scared here but he
was actually really excited
