The weekend after Christmas we had a visit from one of our best friends from college and his fiancee who both now live in New York City. Martin was a fraternity brother of Paul's and was a groomsman in our wedding and his fiancee Lindsay is so sweet. They took two weeks over the holidays and made basically a tour of the South seeing all their friends and family. We were excited to be a stop on their journey! The night that they stayed with us we invited another fraternity brother and good friend who lives in Memphis and his little boy, Declan, over for dinner. Declan and Wilder are big buddies and had so much fun playing together and the big folks had such a good time catching up and hanging out.
Wilder also had fun showing off for the new love of his life, Lindsay. He was quite enamored with her and ate up all the sweet attention she gave him. For days after their visit he kept asking, "Where Lindsay go?" and saying, "Lindsay come back Wilder's house." For weeks after, every red car we saw was "Lindsay's car" because they had driven a red rental car haha and he still refers to the guest room she and Martin stayed in as "Lindsay's room." It was sooo cute to see him with his first crush!

funny to watch them compete for spots on
the couches and chairs all night.
We miss all our college friends that we don't see much of so it was so nice to get to catch up and let Martin and Lindsay meet Wilder. We can't wait for their wedding next spring (although I'm sure Wilder will be heartbroken by it haha)!
